CLEAN
Formula Explanation
CLEAN removes all non-printable characters from text. It is used to clean up text imported from other applications, removing characters that cannot be printed by the current operating system.
For example, you can use CLEAN to remove low-level computer codes that typically appear at the beginning and end of data files and cannot be printed.
Formula Syntax
Enter in the result column: CLEAN(text)
The CLEAN function syntax has the following argument:
- Text is a required value. It is the worksheet information from which you want to remove non-printable characters.
